Double Eagle M805a Review

STATS

FPS: 260
ROF: 500 RPM
ACCURACY: 6.5/10
RANGE: 130ft
WEIGHT: 1600g
MAG CAPACITY: 250 rounds

REVIEW

This gun is one of the best value starter AEG guns; it is really the most basic, entry level skirmish guns on the market. At about 260 fps it can shoot up to 130ft as it has a really good hop up unit (or at least for the price). Accuracy on this gun is quite average, but that is OK as if you were using this gun in a skirmish I would recommend just spraying at around 100ft. This gun is in fact really light which is nice if you are carrying it around the field all day but it does increase sway when shooting – especially at longer ranges (95-130ft). For the Price of the gun I would really recommend buying it and even includes a high-cap mag which I was really impressed with seeing as it is Double Eagle which we associate to be a more budget company.

Tokyo Marui PX4 Review

STATS

FPS: 260
MAG SIZE: 25 BB
LENGTH: 19cm
CONSRUCTION: Polymer
RPM: Semi-Auto
ACCURACY: 8/10
HOP UP: Yes
RANGE: 125ft
WEIGHT: 830g

REVIEW

This pistol is based on the Beretta PX4 Storm, released in 2004. Like the storm, it is constructed of polymer. The pistol features an FPS of about 260 with the Abbey Predator Ultra gas, which I recommend. If you decided to use Green gas however, expect an FPS of around 290-300. If you decide to use 134a gas, expect about 240-250. You may say that this FPS is quite low for the actual price of the pistol, however coming from Tokyo Marui you can expect first class build quality. In addition, the hop up is brilliant on this gun – giving it an effective range of 125ft; I can shoot a man sized target 50%+ from this distance. I believe the inner barrel length to be 6.08mm, giving the pistol outstanding accuracy. You can even buy the replacement 6.03mm if you demand even further results.
